February Member of the Month - Paul
If you've been to the noon class at all over the past several months, chances are you've ran into February's member of the month, Paul. This man has been consistent in showing up, and as such has seen huge gains over a short period of time.
CFTC: How were you referred to CFTC / what motivated you to join?
Paul: I always wanted to try it but never was close enough to do it. I looked online as to what gyms were available and chose CFTC because it is really close to me and they offer a noon class which fits my schedule perfect.
CFTC: What accomplishment are you most proud of and why?
Paul: Being able to do most of the WODS with the RX weight is a big one for me it shows that I am actually gaining strength, when I started I was all the women’s weight and now I can, for the most part do all the Men’s RX weights.
CFTC: What do you spend the majority of your time doing outside of the gym?
Paul: Running three daughters to all of their extracurricular events and spending time with family. In the summer, its boating and golfing.
CFTC: Who has played a key role in helping you develop a new skill or has pushed you or challenged you during a WOD?
Paul: Coco is generally the one who will push me, if I want to cop out or go light she won’t let me.
CFTC: What movement are you most looking forward to improving?
Paul: Pullups, I want to be able to do them RX Style!!!
